Tongue Piercing Step by Step

First is the paper work, going over basic after care information and set-up. Then the piercee rinses with anti-septic mouth wash for 60 seconds. (picture #1)The piercee's tongue is then marked About an 1/8 of an inch in front of the tendon on the underside of the tongue & dead center at the natural curve of the tongue.

Once marked the piercee is then reclined and the Foster or Ballenger forceps are then put on(picture #2). The markings are once again rechecked to insure that they are straight up & down and side to side.

Once the forceps are in the correct position, (picture #3) they are supported by a third party(in this case Sherry Sears of Creative Images Daughter Jessy).

The needle is then inserted and the piercing itself done(picture #4).

With the piercing done the Barbell is then connected to the back end to the needle and inserted into the piercing(picture #5).

The Ball is then screwed on to the barbell and the piercee then rinses again, three time 30 seconds each time. With the piercing all done and the piercee smiling(picture #6).

After listening to the detailed aftercare instructions and paying, The piercee is on his way out the door(picture #7).
